The Carpentry program prepares students to enter the workforce as an entry-level carpenters or construction laborers.
The Student Learning Outcomes for this program are:
- Students understand the basics of the construction industry and carpentry field in particular.
- Students demonstrate proficiency with all basic tools and all carpentry tools.
- Students build a basic carpentry structure that includes a floor, walls, roof, and steps.
- Students understand and comply with basic safety for the construction industry
- Students understand and utilize basic construction blueprints for building.
